About Me

My family has strong roots in the Clarington medical community, and this is where I first became interested in health and working with individuals to reach their health goals. My love of sports and science lead me to Wilfred Laurier University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a minor in Chemistry. Through my undergraduate program and through many volunteer hours, I familiarized herself with different fields of practice, though felt most drawn to Naturopathic Medicine and the broad scope of possibilities the field promised. I then spent the next 4 years in the Naturopathic Medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where I graduated in 2013 after completing in classroom courses, multiple board exams, and a year of internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic.

I have been practicing and accepting patients since January 2014, and am still continuing to grow and learn within the ever-expanding field of Naturopathic Medicine. My favourite modality is acupuncture, though work within the wide spectrum of practice tools to individualize treatment plans for my patients. The most common patient complaints I work with are pain, injury, digestive upset and hormone dysregulation, though also has a lot of experience working with mental health, weight loss, energy, sleep disturbances and fertility.
